Hi, my name is Mustafa Qureshi and I'm a Grade 10 student here at HTS. My interests are varied, ranging from programming and economics to Star Wars and PC-building. One of these fascinations in particular convinced me to be a speaker for HTS TedEd: algorithmic governance. It's an idea I've pondered ever since reading Yuval Noah Harari's "Homo Deus", and I am infinitely grateful to have the opportunity to share my view with others. I believe that at some point, artificial intelligence will surpass us in nearly every conceivable task - including running a country. Therefore, rather than reject and fear the notion of an AI government, we should embrace it as a natural consequence of technological evolution.
